Editing Levels:

Editorial Assessment – This is a great option for a manuscript in the early stages. Jenna will offer her overarching perspective of your story to help you identify strengths & weaknesses, feedback on plot, structure, and characterization to help you solidify your end-goals, theme, and next steps.

Developmental Edit – A developmental edit will take a closer look at your big-picture elements like plot, structure, characters, and themes and help you to refine your ideas in a way that will make sure your manuscript starts strong, maintains a healthy arc, and ends with a bang.

Copyedit – A copyedit looks at your manuscript at a line level to edit spelling, grammar, punctuation, style, clarity, tone, redundancies, inconsistencies, format, and weak phrasing.

Proofread – Proofreading is generally the last stage of editing, focusing only on straight spelling, grammar, punctuation, and any remaining typos.

Beta Reading:

A beta read will include a full read-through of your manuscript. Jenna will include any comments that hit her as she reads and answer any specific questions you have. In addition, she will provide you with a write-up of overarching story impressions and comments to help you with your writing journey from the prospective of a reader.

Do you write for teenagers and want beta readers from your target age group? Or want more than one reader?
